Introduction

Working globally means crossing not only geographical borders, but legal, linguistic and cultural borders, too. For clients in an ever-more complex business world, a leap of faith is not enough: they need referrals they trust. LFN’s network of independent law firms in the Asia Pacific region is bound together by a shared belief: the deeper the relationships between members, the better we may serve clients’ needs. It’s a belief that rings true now more than ever.

Strengthened through years of collaboration, the trust that flows between each of our members adds true credibility to every referral we make. So, when clients seek out new global opportunities, they do so with confidence. Many business transactions today have a multi-national element in it. Our law firms are as much local as they are international, to meet the needs of our clients undertaking these cross-border or multi-national transactions. We provide comprehensive corporate legal services that help clients complete sophisticated transactions in a rapidly changing, competitive, and regulatory environment.

We understand business culture, especially within Asia Pacific jurisdictions, and have experienced lawyers proficient in local languages to facilitate and act in these transactions. Home to some of the world’s fastest-growing economies, the Asia Pacific region has remained an inviting investment destination with a thriving economy despite headwinds brought upon by global conflicts and supply chain disruptions. Poised to become one of the world’s largest economies by 2030, the Asia-Pacific region is expected to continue in its remarkable development.

Goals

Our team of experienced lawyers strives to provide the best practice legal advice and offer representation that will tailor to your needs with proactive quality guidance and documentation.

Market Entry/Business Etiquette in the APAC region

We offer a true personalised guidance;we believe that the “one-size-fits-all” mindset should be dropped by businesses, as APAC isn’t a single market: every country has its distinct dynamics, and it should be reflected in each proceeding

Navigate the Regulatory Landscape

The Asia-Pacific region, while offering immense opportunities, also presents a labyrinth of regulatory frameworks. Each country has its own set of business laws, regulations, compliances, tax regulations and digital policies. We are as much local. We provide a local perspective in our advice in order to adapt to each country and region from an international mindset.

Tap the Right Local Talent

The APAC region’s biggest asset is its human capital. Countries like India, the Philippines, and Vietnam have a rich pool of skilled professionals. We can provide a micro-perspective on key employment laws across the region and make provisions covering important aspects of the employment life cycle.
