Wanyaga and Njaramba is a medium-sized law firm established in 2006 as a result of a merger between JANE WANYAGA & CO. ADVOCATES (established in 1994) and NJARAMBA & CO. ADVOCATES (established in 2000).
The firm holds a wealth of experience spanning over 14 years – with over 60 years’ combined experience in various legal matters. Our work is organised into three main departments; Corporate & Legal Advisory Services, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, and Government and Public Sector. Our main areas of focus are Corporate and Commercial Law including but not limited to banking, insurance, insolvency, corporate restructuring/rescuing, takeovers and mergers, securities, taxation, intellectual property, pension and business laws, public sector reform and legislative drafting, as well as commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

Dr. Njaramba Gichuki was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1998. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Honours degree, a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law, of the University of Nairobi. He set up the firm of Njaramba & Co. Advocates in 2000, and subsequently the firm of Wanyaga & Njaramba Advocates. He is a lecturer and trainer on various legal subjects. He is a Certified Public Secretary (CPS(K)). Njaramba is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Nairobi, where he teaches and conducts research in the Commercial Law Department. He chairs the Postgraduate Studies Committee at the School of Law, University of Nairobi. He has also taught at other institutions including the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and the Kenya School of Monetary Studies.
