Estudio VEGA & Abogados was founded in 2018 under the name EVVG Abogados, adopting its current name in 2020. The firm is built on a foundation of senior expertise and emerging legal talent, united by a shared commitment to delivering strategic, high-impact legal counsel.
Its team brings extensive experience from top-ranked law firms in Peru, with a strong background in corporate, real estate, labor, dispute resolution and tax,.
In the second half of 2024, Estudio VEGA & Abogados took a significant step in its growth by adding a new partner to launch and lead its Competition Law, Intellectual Property, Telecommunications, Media, Technology, and Information Department.

José Manuel Guerra is the Managing Partner of Estudio VEGA & Abogados and leads the firm’s Labor Law Department. He co-founded the firm in 2018 after six years of professional collaboration with his current partner at a previous boutique law firm.
With nearly 20 years of experience, his practice focuses on labor and employment law, social security, occupational safety and health, and immigration matters, providing strategic legal support to national and international clients across diverse industries.
He holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
Fernando Valdivieso, founding partner of Vega & Abogados, is a lawyer with over 30 years of experience in corporate and real estate legal advisory. Previously, he was a partner at Hernández & Cía. for eight years, from 2008 to December 2016, where he established and led the Real Estate legal advisory department.
Since the creation of Vega & Abogados in 2018, he has headed the Corporate – Real Estate department and currently coleads the Dispute Resolution area.
Fernando is widely recognized for his expertise in advising major investment projects undertaken by insurance companies and other entities. He has provided legal advisory services to well-known companies such as Credicorp, P&G, América TV, and Zegel-IPAE.
Fernando graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and has pursued postgraduate studies in Finance and Business Law.
