Ricardo is the founding partner of the Firm and former president of the Mexican Bar Association. He is an expert TMT lawyer, with over 27 years of professional experience in telecom and broadcasting services, constitutional, corporate, commercial and administrative law.
Mr Ríos Ferrer serves as a member of the board of directors of diverse Mexican companies and has advised several foreign clients on structuring and financing foreign investments in Mexico.
He is a member of the Mexican Bar Association, International Bar Association; the American Bar Association; and the Mexican Academy of International Law. He is a founder and chairman of the telecommunications law committee of the Mexican Bar Association.

Julio specializes in commercial and administrative dispute resolutions, as well as commercial and investment arbitrations. He has vast experience representing Mexican and foreign companies in disputes related to telecommunications, foreign investment, permits and concessions, antitrust, insurance, shareholders disputes, human rights, health law, construction projects, energy, among others. Mr. Gutiérrez has participated in insolvency procedures and international sale of goods disputes, as well. He is also an expert in class actions and is a lecturer of the subject in the Universidad Panamericana, México City.
Julio was a Board member of the Mexican Bar Association, in charge of the international affairs (2019-2021) of the Mexican Bar; he was chair of the International Law Committee and founder of the Health Law Committee of such organization. He is also a member of other international associations.
