Ponet & De Vleeschauwer and LVPLaw Antwerpen joined forces under the name Ponet & LVP Advocaten on the 1st of January 2019.
LVPLaw Antwerpen offers its clients a wide range of legal services in commercial, real estate, construction and employment law matters, whereas Ponet & De Vleeschauwer mainly specializes in (diamond/fine art) insurance, transportation and port related matters, as well as traffic and tort law.

Raf Van Gysel obtained his law degree from the Catholic University of Leuven (K.U. Leuven) and was admitted to the Antwerp Bar in 1990.
He has spent his entire career at Ponet & De Vleeschauwer, which he took over in 2015 together with Philip Vanlommel. To broaden the firm’s practice areas, it merged with LVP LAW Antwerp in 2019.
He is an active member of several professional associations, primarily in the transport and logistics sectors. He regularly lectures on these topics and has authored a number of publications.
Raf advises and litigates in Dutch, French and English.
