The firm, founded under the name Lamarre Linteau & Montcalm in 1998 by lawyers who already had a solid expertise in Business Law, changed its name to Linteau Soulière & Associés, avocats, at the end of 2018.

From the beginning, we decided to limit the growth of the firm to create the framework of a compact group in constant interaction with the clients.

Ugo has been practicing law for nearly 20 years, mainly in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, as well as in real estate law. He has also been frequently called upon to represent his clients in the context of extraordinary and urgent recourses, particularly with regards to injunctive proceedings. He is known for being meticulous in the defense of his clients’ rights, while always keeping their best commercial interests in mind.

Despite being a litigator, Ugo utilizes a practical approach to law that allows him to consider all legal and commercial aspects of any file, in order to prioritize strategies that will best suit his clients and their business’ needs. It is for this reason that Ugo’s clients maintain their trust in his counsel throughout their business ventures, many of which have done so for over a decade.

It is in this context that he co-founded BLP Lawyers, to meet the needs of business clients who are not merely seeking legal advice, but also wish to be guided in all aspects of their business. Prior to co-founding the firm, Ugo was previously the managing partner of a law firm in which he worked for nearly 10 years, thereby fostering his desire to manage a team and act as a mentor to younger attorneys.

Konstantino Dean Psycharis is recognized, by clients and peers, as a professional with strong business acumen, as well as for his ability to source practical and innovative solutions to complex legal problems, all while reconciling with real-time business considerations.

From early on in his practice, Dean quickly grew to becoming a recognized advisor for SMEs and mid-market businesses. He proposes a renewed vision to the practice of law, favoring accessibility and efficiency. Constantly seeking ways to disrupt the status quo, Dean co-founded BLP Lawyers in 2021 to provide an outlet in which business and law can become truly synonymous. He has since developed the firm into a rapidly growing group of professionals, representing hundreds of corporations across Canada and internationally. Dean is as much a lawyer as he is a businessman, actively advising successful business-owners and large corporations of all sectors. He is sought after for his efficient service, rapid execution and empathetic approach to legal issues.

Dean’s practice is focused on corporate and commercial law, more specifically Mergers & Acquisitions, Real Estate and Commercial Law. Dean is also a member of various external boards, where he plays a key role in advising on governance and compliance matters.

Dean is also an active member of the Greek business community of Montreal, currently acting as Co-President of the Hellenic Board of Trade of Montreal – an organization promoting business within the Hellenic community.
