In addition to their expertise in traditional M&A, its Private Equity specialization allows the members in the group to provide comprehensive counsel to investors, fund managers, and portfolio companies operating in the private equity space.
Goals
Knowledge Exchange and Collaboration: Fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge exchange among members, despite being in different jurisdictions. This includes regular virtual meetings, sharing best practices, and discussing case studies to leverage the collective expertise of the group.
Cross-Jurisdictional Understanding: Enhancing members’ understanding of company and commercial laws and regulations across different jurisdictions. Developing resources and conducting training sessions to ensure that all members are well-versed in the nuances of various legal frameworks, enabling them to provide comprehensive guidance to clients with cross-border interests.
Client-Centric Solutions: Striving to deliver client-centric solutions that are tailored to the specific legal landscapes of different jurisdictions. Developing a deep understanding of each client’s unique needs and objectives, and collaborating across borders to provide holistic legal advice that accounts for regulatory differences and maximizes value for clients.
Business Development and Networking: Actively engaging in business development activities and networking opportunities to expand the group’s reach and attract clients with diverse corporate needs. This includes attending industry events, participating in professional associations, and leveraging digital platforms to showcase the group’s expertise.

Marc Chaudet - Ydès Avocats (France)
Marc is a business lawyer mainly involved in company law as well as in banking and finance law. With a strong international experience, he assists French and foreign companies in the different stages of their development, in their merger operations, external growth or restructuring. Marc also assists companies or French and foreign financial institutions in their banking transactions, restructurings or company finance operations. He is also involved in debt restructuring and M&A for companies in difficulty.
After having worked for around fifteen years in the M&A and corporate finance departments with Clifford Chance and Simmons & Simmons in Paris and London, Marc founded his own firm in 2010. He joined the firm YDES as a partner in 2016.
Marc is a lecturer at the Paris Dauphine University where he annually delivers a seminar on finance law.
